Richard B Rosenberg for nearly 25 years Mr. Rosenberg has been in Senior Level Management positions with Wholesale Distribution, Marketing And Manufacturing Firms. His expertise is solidly based across a wide range of – functional assignments and business models. During his long association with RBR Productions, Inc., he exhibited dedication and resourcefulness, managing over 350 distributors, 35 outside sales reps and 17 internal employees as well as multiple brands into multiple market segments.
He began his professional career with a small wholesale distribution and manufacturing firm inventing some unique and innovative nail care products and starting from scratch built revenues into the millions. Under the tutelage of a noted former Senior Level Manager at Merck Pharmaceutical), he entered the infection control segment of the professional Beauty industry with 2 proprietary infection control products and within two years had not only captured the major share of the market, but had successfully lobbied all 50 states to upgrade their disinfection standards.
Mr. Rosenberg provided the overall creative direction and vision for the company’s marketing and advertising campaigns, and his products were featured in trade magazines and major national publication such as Crain’s, Mademoiselle, and Elle.
Later on, he co-wrote a book on infection control published by Milady/Thompson. Having studied the work of Block, Favero, Bond, and Rutalla, etc., Mr. Rosenberg was called on to be the industry keynote lecturer on the topic of disinfection and headed up many industry councils on salon safety. His work was responsible for creating a new disinfection market with over $15 million in sales for distributors within 2 years.
He continuously draws upon his prior experiences in developing marketing plans, product presentations, and promotions. His near 25-year career encompasses many challenging assignments within the operations and sales and marketing departments. He has also demonstrated a practical knowledge of business development, recruitment, and personal development issues.
Mr. Rosenberg is married, with one daughter and has a dachshund named Ozzie. He has an undergraduate degree in the Arts, , writes music, plays guitar and piano, and attends art exhibitions and museums during his time off.
Marie Elena Scioscia, M.S., R.D., CDN. holds a Master of Science degree from New York University in clinical nutrition. She is a Registered Dietitian, and is certified and licensed by New York State to practice dietetics. Her clinical internship includes working at the acclaimed Dean Ornish Program for Cardiac Rehabilitation at Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan.
Currently, Ms. Scioscia is currently house nutritionist for Alvin Ailey Dance Company as well as Adjunct professor at Hunter College and Columbia University. Ms. Scioscia was consulting nutritionist for the New York City Ballet from 2003 – 2005. She ran nutrition services for Manhattan Plaza Health Club for 11 years.Ms. Scioscia provides individual counseling as well as group instruction. Her areas of expertise include sports nutrition, eating disorders, women’s health, weight loss and cardiovascular disease.
She has lectured extensively on a variety of nutrition, health, and exercise subjects for the Brooklyn VA Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital, the YWCA’s of New York, the American Red Cross, and for corporations such as Group Health Incorporated and On-Site Fitness, Incorporated. She is also a frequent contributing writer for Pointe Magazine and Dance Spirit Magazine and sits on the advisory board of Pointe Magazine.
Ms. Scioscia has been active in the fitness field since 1986 working as a teacher and private trainer. Her credentials include fitness certifications through the American Council on Exercise and Marymount Manhattan College. She is also a continuing education provider for the American Council on Exercise, and conducts educational workshops for certified trainers in New York. Her industry presentations include Master Classes at Canyon Ranch Spa, World Gym, the Metro Sports Fitness Convention, and the national Dance Teachers Association convention. She has taught flexibility training workshops for dancers at Marymount Manhattan College as well as for Manhattan Motion Dancers.
Prior to entering the fitness and nutrition fields, Marie Elena worked in New York and regionally as an actress and dancer for twelve years before becoming an adjunct professor at Pace University where she lectured and taught dance for two years.
